Being mean again....

I failed Kobayashi Maru
Ok, so I've had the 2 clowns for maybe 5 or 6 months now, they've established gender, one is definitely bigger than theh other, so I now know which is female. Well, they were getting on well since they established themselves...but all of a sudden, the female is now more aggressive than ever...I don't see nips on the male's fins, but she's just CONSTANTLY on him and ramming/pushing/bullying him. Plus she's the one convulsing at him most of the time. He's usually cornered, even if he gets away, she follows him and corners him again nonstop. Is she just ready to lay eggs or something?? She's MEAN!!

Clowns can be pretty jerky fish, I dont see anything that is overly damaging or way out of line. Give them a few days and see if they dont work it out before you intervene

mine are the same way. They used to sleep together then the male got kicked out and went to the other side of the tank when he sleeps. Well now my female decided she like's his spot better and now kicked him out of it and he is back where he started.

I'm subscribing to this thread.... I have the same problem with my girlfriend... always bullying ;)

Clownfish are just like women... I swear.... we'll never understand them.

Nah...that doesn't work...my husband tried it, and it p*ssed me off more ;)

Yeah, I've noticed clowns are just so random. My husband, of course, sympathizes with the li'l guy. Wonder why? lol

My luck was like your husbands. My wife just got more pissy,so I went turkey hunting instead:mrgreen:
