Best 1000 gph pump

I want to purchase a smaller pump, one right around 1000 gph would be great. I have a mag drive 2400 now but need to drop it down to less than half of that since I no longer need all that flow. I'd like one that doesn't heat up the water too much (this mag drive keeps my water above 80 and I don't even need a heater in the tank) and I'd like a quieter one. What's the best for the money??

I don't have an answer to your question but wanted to add I never considered that my powerheads could be the reason that the new 120g we just setup on Wednesday could be constantly over 80 due to the 2x 1500gph powerheads.
