best animale to add for algae

What is the best thing you can add to a tank to eat green algae and not coraline. Looking for somthing other than a fish, because i will be adding a blenny to help out and dont want to add too many fish:sfish:

sailfin algae blennie will help, alot of good snails will be best

i dont think i have ever seen one ill look on the net at one what are the best snails for algae i have a couple nassarius but they all most always stay in the sand

nassarius for sand.
Astrea for glass and rock work.

I love my tail spot blenny.

ok ill go to my lfs and buy about a dozen astrea and see how they work out thats my problem is the back glass and now starting on the sand in some spots and i want somthing to eat it thanks for your advice

i couldnt find astrea at lfs but found margarita will they wok as good or should i keep looking for astrea snails

i had a bad green hair algae out break and nothing counld keep up with it until i added two pencil urchins. they wipe out the algae in about a week and i haven't had then bother any corals just make sure all you rock work is pretty secure

Margarita snails will be great. I like them better than the astrea myself.

use trochus or small turbos if you can find them
