Best Mag and Cal Tests?

More and more I'm liking API better than the rest. I've had the fewest problems with API -they're easier and the go bad less than the others.

I never used anything but Salifert for mag, so I don't know how the other stack up against it. The Salifert is very easy to use and is easy to tell when you reached the end color.

For calcium, the API is OK if you are satisified with a reading in 20 ppm increments. I found the API results to be very close to Salifert, but I do prefer Salifert.
Check this thread I posted a little over a year ago.

I use API for calcium and alkalinity for my daily quick tests. But I keep salifert on hand just in case I need to double check.
For magnesium, all I've ever used was the salifert kit.

I quit using API altogether. Lamotte for alk, and Salifert for calc, mag, nitrate and phos. I refuse to spend the big $$$ on a Hanna meter. I really like the salifert tests, and they aren't really that difficult as long as you follow the instructions.
