A friend of mine had his tank crack and had to get rid of his fisih, i have a 30 gallon tank and he gave me this bicolor, ive had him for about 6 hours and hes only came out of hiding once, are these fish usually this timid and can i house a dwarf angle in a 30 gallon?

I don't know much about dwarfs but yes it is normal for a fish to hide after it is introduced. My Randall hid for two days and my Hector Goby hid for three days.

Can you house it? Yes. Should you house it? That is debatable. Most dwarf angels I have researched have minimum requirements of 55-70g tanks. They all have the potential to be coral nippers. Another thing I have learned over the years is just because they didn't nip in one tank doesn't mean they won't nip in yours. Good luck!
