birdsnest changing color?

I fragged some birdsnest a couple weeks ago and put it in the ten gallon and the polyps are extended and it seemed to be doing well. So I fragged a couple more peices and out them in the ten gallon and noticed that its a lot darker than the birdsnest that's been in there for a couple weeks. Did it get lighter bc it went from leds to t5s? It still looks healthy. Just light tan instead of dark tan. Should I be worried?

Color will vary when lighting conditions change. You're right, it does look healthy. So I wouldn't worry.

A lot of corals will fade/get darker colors under different lighting.

I've got a question about birdnest would they be able to go into a 90 gallon with VHO lighting if I put them close to the top?

I think they'd be fine up close to the top.
