Blood Red Fire Shrimp

Hi,

I had a Blood Red Fire Shrimp and I bought a Sally Lightfoot Crab at the same time.

After we introduced them they actually got long really well. well this morning the shrimp's shell was on my sand.

Should I leave it there and let nature take it's course or is there something I should do?

Did the shrimp just molt or did the crab eat it? is the shell clearish?

It could just be the molt, you're choice if you want to leave it or not, if you have a good clean up crew then it's just food to them.

I'd bet it's just the molt, and not the shrimp itself as well.

wow... no it is still red but not moving.. he's at the back of my tank and partially under a rock. What will happen if he molts?

You can pull it out and throw it away. Or leave it in, and another member of the clean up crew will eat it.
