    FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied diet for carnivores, omnivores, herbivores, including live, frozen, and flake fare. Feed min. 2 times a day.

    REEF COMPATIBILITY - Excellent

    CAPTIVE CARE - May graze on some algae, aggressive as it matures, will pick on more docile tankmates, a pair can be kept in a smaller tank, a group can be kept in a medium to large tank. Does not live well with cardinalfish, govies, firefish, blennies (very aggressive towards these fish), needs plenty of hiding places. Unless a large tank is used house only one male per tank. Will spawn in captivity. Males will have a blue tail with dark border (Indonesia), bright orange tail other areas, female's tail is clear. This is a hardy fish and acclimates well to captive care, will eat most anything offered.
