COMMON NAME - Bluelined Snapper

RANGE - Western Pacific

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 135 US Gal. (511 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied diet of marine meaty foods, chopped fresh or frozen shrimp, scallop, marine fish flesh, mysid shrimp, prepared frozen foods for carnivores. Feed to satiation one time per day.

AQUARIUM SUITABILITY - 10

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will eat crustaceans and any fish it can swallow whole, adults will eat mantis shrimps.

CAPTIVE CARE - A very aggressive eater, will intimidate smaller passive tankmates, should be the last fish introduced to a community tank, keep only one per tank, a very large tank is needed to keep more than one, introduce all at same time, provide adequate caves or crevices for hiding, its colors often fade.
