Booster pump for RO/DI?

BL1

.............
Being the huge procrastinator that I am, the RO/DI unit I bought from filter direct about 5 months ago finally got installed today :^:. So, after setting it up I see that I'm only getting about 25-30 psi into the unit. The directions say it needs between 40-80 psi to function :frustrat:. So, my question is, is there anyway I can get this thing working without spending another $80 on a booster pump?

No. You need the booster pump.

Higher pressure actually increases the efficiency of the RO membrane. Without the higher pressure, you CAN get water out of the unit - but it's not as clean as the water will be when it's pumped through under higher pressure.
