Breeding mysis

Hi,

Does anyone have any info on breeding mysis shrimp? I want to breed that instead of brineshrimp due to nutritional values.

breeding mysid shrimp is extremely difficult because the adults will cannibalize the young so you have to have a pretty sophisticated system to separate them and move them around.

Oh well that sucks. I was hoping to become as self sufficient as I can. And breeding brineshrimp isn't really worth it?
On the other hand, when you say sophisticated system, if I have 2 spare tanks (with basic equipment) is it doable?

you would be much better off buying a quality mixed frozen food blend than trying to raise your own mysid or brine

For some reason my copperband will eat frozen brineshrimp, but not mysis. However, eats live mysis. But we'll see how things go.
