Brittle star hungry

My brittle star has come out in the light feeling around for sometlhing to eat. They don't usually come out in the light so does that mean he is really hungry and desperate for food? If I put little pieces of cod in there for him the other fish will get to it before he does. Im thinking to put him in a little container with cod pieces so he has free range. Then put him back into the tank .

They love to be fed. Get a turkey baster and squirt some food in his direction next time you feed your tank. His arms will grab at the food and he'll happily eat it.
