Brown Snot Algae

I have a brown snotty looking algae that is all over my tank, just started happening about a week ago. Not sure what it is or why I have it?

55 gal tank
2 T5 lights on 8 hours per day
Last water test: Sunday - Calcium 440, Salinity 1.025, Nitrate/Nitrite 0, Dkh 11
I have several leather corals, sea fan, montipora, nassirus snails, blue leg crabs, kenyan tree, xenia, polyps, wrasse, chromis

Is there something I can add to the tank to kill it? The only thing I am dosing is Microvert.

Not sure what else to do?

It does sound like dinoflagellates (or dinos). It's a type of algae that can be toxic to animals that eat it. The easiest and most effective way to get rid of it is to siphon out as much of it as you can (like with a turkey baster) by hand, then turn off all your lights for 4 to 5 days.

It may come back after the black out, but usually that does the trick.
