Brown wafer algae

I have this rather slow growing brown algae on my liverock. After doing some research it looks like brown wafer algae, but it hasn't "scrolled" yet. Here are some pics, what do you think? Also, what are your experiences with this algae? Sounds like some nasty stuff.

I had a little patch of that a few years ago. It disappeared on it own...at least I don't think I ever saw any fish nipping at it.

Well, mine is getting out of control, I need to do something about it. I have heard good success stories with sally light foot crabs. The only other animal that eats it is naso tangs. My tank isn't big enough, so the SLF is my choice of weapon.

Sally lightfoot crabs also like to eat fish, so if you do add one be warned.

I'd rather risk my fish versus risking my corals. I have already had 3 corals over taken by this algae. (1) ORA joe the coral= 50$ (2) ORA blue voodoo stag=50$ (3) nice big hammer coral= 40$ and my Purple ORA cap is at risk. This is the only algae I have seen to over take an SPS coral. Screw the fish ,lol.... The SLF will be worth it.
