Basically you are correct. you will need to keep up your additions until the reactor comes on line and is seasoned. you will decrease your additons as the reactor comes on line over a few days and test to monitor your water parameters. if you start to drop increase your additons and if you start to rise or stay same decrease additons until you are on the reactor only. hope this helps.
