When adding calcium, does the protien skimmer pull some of it out? As soon as i started dosing my protien skimmer started going good! Im at 260 ppm and dosing 5ml, a little much for 14g. Im trying to achieve 410ppm.

It may pull out some, but adding stuff to the water causes a change in the water's surface tension which alters how the protein skimmer functions.

I would have to question your calcium test result. It's almost impossible for calcium to get that low.
But to answer your question, any water the skimmer pulls out has calcium in it, but the skimmer doesn't specifically pull out calcium from the water column and lower the level.
