can a humbug and blue tang breed?

is it possible for a four stripe black and white humbug to breed with a blue tang? my humbug is like flashing at my tang. she is not being chassed, now and again it looks like my humbug is trying to breed with my tang !! is it possible ??

Highly unlikely that a damsel and tang would breed. They are completely different species. Just getting two tangs to spawn in a home aquarium is a pretty rare and difficult feat. Most likely you are seeing displays of aggression and territorialness, not mating.

Not possible. Species can only breed with their own species, with very rare exceptions (like donkeys and horses).
