So my tank has cycled, but i wanted to add some more wet base rock, is this ok?? Or will something go wrong?? :D

I think as long as you rinse it off with RO/DI water you should be fine

You need to make sure the new rock you add is cured otherwise you could kick off a new cycle.

What do you mean when you say "wet base rock"? Did you wet it yourself rinsing it off, cause if so, then it's ok to add it to the tank. If it's coming from the lfs already wet, then I would cure it like BL1 stated.

The add says its been siting in this dudes 550 Gallon sump.

If it's been in the sump of a running system for any length of time you should be able to put it right into your system. I would bring a bucket full of old tank water to keep the rock wet during transport

Yea this guy has 50+ tanks in his garage (which is huge) and a combined amount of gallons 2000+ gallons. Haha its pretty cool

also, once base rock has been sitting in a cycled tank, its not base rock anymore - its live. All live means is that it has the bacteria living on it that can process fish waste. So he is selling live rock, as long as the tank was cycled.
