Can Marine Ich go away on it's own?

I noticed last night that my Flame Angelfish had tons of little white specs all over him, then the next day (today) I notice he almost has none on him but he still looks a little weird. If not how can I treat it?.

It can come and go from sight, but the fish will still have it. Just not be showing symptoms.
