Chalk Bass - Yes or No?

I have been thinking of adding more fish to my tank, and I am leaning towards a small group of chalk bass (maybe 4).

Does anyone have any experience with them? Any issues that I need to be aware of?

Current livestock (100 gallon mixed reef)
1 hippo tang
1 amphiprion clown
1 scissortail goby
1 lawnmower blenny
1 green chromis
1 CBS
1 skunk cleaner shrimp
several varieties of snails and hermit crabs for CUC.

I say yes, but I'd be hesitant to add four fish at once. Although, from what I've read about them, they need to be introduced at the same time to reduce chances of aggression. So, my vote is...... do it! :)

They may eat tankmates....check your compatability charts carefully...

Chalk basslets stay relatively small don't they? Like 3"? I think i read somewhere that certain types of Shrimp are natural prey for them

I added one a week and a half ago. Seriously cool fish. Out all the time. I wouldn't put 4 in a tank. They'll fight each other.

Actually chalk bass are schoolers and are usually in groups.

I love my chalk bass. Just have one. FWIW I have a large cleaner shrimp who's been in there with him about 6 months.
