I think I got it stable. FINALLY!!

I've been testing Alk and pH daily. I used the ESV 2-part buffer everyday. I was adding 10ml (almost the maximum dosage) of each component and watching my Alk slowly creep up. I now have it steady at 10.6 dKH and Alk of 3.7--3.8 and pH is steady at 8.2+/-

I've leveled off on my dosing now to only about 2.5ml per day of each component. It's been holding steady for about 3 days with that dosing amount.

Am I good now?

Calcium is down to about 450--460. Still high, but I don't think it will hurt anything.

450 to 460 for calcium is not too high. I keep mine close to 500.

Everything sounds hunky dory.

My calcium is stays near 500 so your good to go where its at.

if you have SPS corals, you will want your levels even higher. I like mine above 500 for calcium and about 13 for DKh
