Reefing newb
Last week my tank has jumped up in tempature,and is staying anyware form 83 to 86 degress. :mad!!: I have droped more bags of frozen ziplocks then I care to remember.I have been running just the lights few hours in the evening and leaving the canopy open with a fan blowing accross water.I cant win my apartment is just warm inside. :frustrat:I been thinking of way to chill my tank.
I have decided to make my own iceprobe chiller(50 watts will bring my tank down 2 degress at a $100) och!

Today I found theese babies(Thermoelectric-Peltier-Cooler) and wanted to share them everyone and get opinions good or bad

I am thinking about getting one or two of these and attach it to a metal L or U braket. One end can be dipped in the tank(hopefully something rust resistant)the other end I would attach the cooling pad.I will need to wire these up to 12 volts DC.I have an adapter form some PC speakers that will have enough amps)
