Clam with Aiptasia

Got a new blue Maxima clam and noticed a couple aiptasia on it. I was warned by the LFS about handling the clam and stressing it too much. So should I try to scrape it off into a container while holding the clam or try something else?

I would try peppermint shrimp. That would be the easiest and least stressful solution to the clam. Get a few peps since it seems 50/50 if they eat the aiptasia

My girlfriend and I just got a peppermint shrimp to get rid of a bunch of aiptasia and within about a week they are almost all gone. Watched him gobble the biggest one down about 30 mins ago.

My clam has got several Aiptasia on it before. I used Aiptasia-X carefully on them without any clam damage. Aiptasia-X is the sure way to kill them.
