clean up crew

I got some algae so I bought 10 snails and i cant think of the name but there the really small looking snails but there not snails "secerith" I think. i also got a crab and he went to town on my live rock it look like the nutty proffesor at golden coral. So my question is if any of these organisms die cause theres about 23 of them now not including the clowns will it spike my nitrate?

If they start dieing off in numbers,they can spike your parameters.But if one or 2 goes,you may never notice it except in a very small tank.

Sounds like cerith snails. Good choice. They are excellent cleaners.
