cleaner shrimp question

Reefing newb
I have a cleaner shrimp that has molted about three times already..however, this last time it seemed to have a problem...I woke up and noticed it didn't quite shed the entire shell and seemed to be paralyzed in the upper half, feeding legs and walking legs, swimming legs to the rear seem fine...He is hanging in there...making his way around the tank to feed or attempt to feed...Is it possible a hermit crab perhaps got it during the molting....will the legs grow back?

Are you saying his frount legs molted with him and he no longer has them?

or

He only molted half his exo skeleton and the top half is still attached?

Sorry....from what I can tell it appears some of his front legs are missing and what is there doesn't seem to work well ...

When you say he has molted 3 times, how long has that been 6 months? etc

Not much you can do really just make sure he gets some food. Also based on the answer to my above question it might be beneficial to increase your iodine levels, but then again that could be part of the problem if he is molting to frequently.
