Closed up clams.

Hi ive had two clams for about 4 months. one a maxima and the other a crocea. Up until last week they have been perfect. last week though it started to open very little during the day and at night about half way open. when i saw this i checked that my dosing pumps were ok and sure enough the calcium was 360. im slowly bring it back up do you think that this is the cause of the clams behavior or something else.

also my lobo and war coral have bleached slightly.

Did you change your lighting? What are your tank parameters?

No i have not changed my lights.

Lobos will bleach fast when alk is to high! Recheck alk!

I spent a lot of money ob clams over the years. After 6 KIA, I gave up. Beautiful creatures that are so darn sensitive. I've had zero luck... might not be you doing anything obviously wrong. Do you ever feed them with phyto or reefsnow?

No i havent seen a ting picking at it but ill keep an eye out. No i don't feed it any thing.

Mag is 1200

To change 50% is an option as we don't have other solution .

Every thing is looking the same the derasa is opened almost all the way but the maxima is is still closed during the day, open at night.
