closed zoas

How long can zoa's last closed up? My blue zoas have yet to open from shipping....

Sometimes they stay closed for a while, do they look healthy?? you can always try a dip with partial iodine/water mix, sometimes that helps

well, as healthy as closed zoas look....they aren't disintegrating yet. If I had some iodine, I'd try that...

When did you get them?

I had some zoas that survived a tank crash. They stayed closed for a few months after the water quality got balanced back out.

Got them online - good company, but the ups guy left them at the door without ringing it, so I didn't know they arrived, and they got a little cold. The duncans & micromusa survived fine tho

I bet they will be fine. Zoas are very durable

Corals can withstand cold temperatures easier than hot temperatures.

I've had mine stay closed for weeks at a time, but come back just fine.

I'm sure they will be fine. I assume that you acclimated them slowly back up to temp, they are just a bit stressed and as dcan mentioned corals can handle cold better then hot.
