clown fish with black spots

hi guys my reef has been doing really good... but my clowns started getting black spots.........
is that something they can die from... there still eating... doing what clowns do....????

Mine has them too and shes fine. I think the consunsus is that they try hosting something and get stung.

Do you have a nem? That is the only thing that would sting it.
Can you post a pic of the fish?

Other corals will also sting the clowns. If its stinging spots they will be a part of the fish, black spot disease is actually raised bumps, kinda like ich

+1 fish...it would look like little black splinters poking out.
