I have a quick ? I was at my lfs and asked them if my captive raised ocellaris clownfish would host an anemone? He said that if they were not raised with one then most likely he wont. Fact or Fiction?

Fiction. Wild clowns are no more likely then tank-bred clown are to have an anemone host them. The only thing that will help get the two together is to use the specific clowns natural host anemone.

+1 BL1. Plus, there's no guarantee any clown will host an anemone, even if it is the right type. Some clowns just ignore them.

In the wild their natural hosts are Heteractis magnifica, Stichodactyla gigantea, Stichodactyla mertensii. Some of the most beautiful anemones IMO but also the most difficult to keep.

A bubble tip anemone is probably the least challenging to keep, and is a general host for most clown types.
