Clownfish

Reefing newb
Hi all it has been a while since I have been here. I have a peculiar question for any person or persons that may have had experience with this. My ORA clownfish which is a misbar was bought as a pair. The male died and so we replaced her mate with a black and white clownfish. They love each other, but, my female has started turning black on her back. Any ideas on what is going on. They are both very healthy and she is getting more and more aggressive around the other fish let me know ok. Thanks!

The larger, more dominant (female) fish will usually be much darker in color than the male. It could also be that she is hosting in something that is causing her pigment to change, like a coral or anemone sometimes does.

Are the two clowns around the same size as each other?

No, the orange one is larger she is the female. My black & white guy is the small one. They never leave each other, always together.
