co2 tank leaking

does any one know if there is an o-ring that goes on a 5lb co2 bottle i just filled it up it is brand new and i tighten it up and it still leaks help

yeah there are o rings on all co2 bottles i have that problem alot since i play paintball and they tear easy so keep an eye on them

lubricating the o-rings with a little petroleum jelly or silicon lube will help keep them from tearing.

You can get flat nylon washers to use instead of the o rings. Check with your supplier to see if he stocks them.

i have never heard that. im gonna try that on my paintball gun tanks and see if itll save me some money

Thanks it had two nylon washers tied to the plug i didnt see at first and i put them in thanks for the help
