Coco Worm not coming out

Will a coco worm go into it's shel for an extended period of time. The feathers of the worm have not come out of the shell in a day or so.

Mine does this every so often. I wouldn't worry too much about it. If the crown doesn't come out for longer than a week or two it might shed its crown and grow a new one. Or its not getting enough food. I feed my tank rotifers and my coco seems to love it.

Mine had gone 3 days without coming out before...so it's normal.
