Controller recomendation

I am pondering the thought of buying a controller for my tank. I cannot decide which one to get, the apex or the Reef Keeper? I want to control heater, fans, and fuge light. I would also like to be able to check up on the tank from the computer/phone when I am not at home. I would like to spend around $300 if that is even possible. What would you suggest and why?

The apex is more expandable and more user friendly but more expensive. I have the reefkeeper lite, was about half the cost of the apex and for what I use it for works just fine for me. Mine runs my ATO, controls the heater, controls the refugium light and has a PH probe. I do not have it hooked up to the net for remote access.

Apex hands down the very best on the market. Look into Apex jr. Or Apex lite to bring the price point down for your affordability.

Apex. Pain in the ass to set up but worth it. It has saved my tank a bagillion times. Ok, ok, at least 3.

Thanks for the input. After lots of reading, apex is definately the way to go. I think i will wait a bit longer, save up some more cash, and get the regular apex not the jr. I think the extra expandability would be a benefit down the road.

Check out the lite. It's the intermediate apex.

I believe they stopped selling the lite earlier this year.
