FOODS AND FEEDING - Meaty marine fare for carnivores, crustacean flesh, mysid shrimp, fresh/live and frozen preparations. Feed Daily.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - May feed on smaller delicate shrimp, small fish, otherwise, excellent.
CAPTIVE CARE - The hawkfish acclimates well to captivity, an aggressive hawkfish that should not be housed with smaller less aggressive species, (targets of preference are small dottybacks, grammas, pygmy angelfishes, small butterflyfishes, sand perches, gobies, dartfishes), should be the last fish added, keep only one per tank.
