Coral ID Help Please

Hi Everyone

This interesting "coral" has been growing in my tank for about 9 months. It started on this clam shell that has never had any coral growing on it.

It seems to be thriving and growing like crazy and I hope when I downsize my tank it doesnt die.

Any ideas on what it is? It appears to have a leaf like texture and moves a bit with the current.

Thanks
Jenna

PS. The colours on it are amazing.

I have no idea if it's hard or soft. It's at the bottom of my tank sort of under my rock cave. I cannot reach it to touch it.

Because it's at the bottom I'm thinking it doesn't like a lot of light.

Judging by the fact that it moves in the current, I'd assume that it's soft. I have no idea, but if I had to guess, I'd say it was a shroom of some sort.

I have tried to take a better picture but I have had no luck so far.

I zoomed in with my lens and it looks like it has a paper texture to it.

When I move tanks I will be moving it and get a better idea of what it is then and hopefully some better pictures.

Nope not shredded that is how it grew.

The shell it is on literally had nothing on it for years and then all of a sudden this little orange thing started growing on it and over the last year it has developed into how it looks today.
