Coral reskinning after shedding? Part two with the mouth open.

Here a a little better pictures of what it is doing. The red in front has tripled in size in the last 2 weeks or so. The second and third shot show the mouth open, do you hand feed these things? Mysis shrimp or just keep up with the Zooplex? It does open and shut still, I have watched for it.

Are you sure that's the coral and not some red tunicate, algae or sponge? I still don't see a mouth. Can you circle it in your pics?

if you're talking about the red thing, it's not the coral, I had that growing in my tank a few months ago

Yeah I don't think it's coral because it's growing on the underside of the skeleton. That's not where the mouth of the brain coral is located.
