Coral Suggestions

Ok, my tank is just about ready for me to start thinking about adding some coral. I'm thinking of starting with a soft coral and since i've received so much help here with everything else, I thought I'd as for some suggestions. Keep in mind that this is my first reef and so I want to stick to something that is relatively low maintenance and easy to keep to alive. Any pictures you might have are of course welcome :)

Start off with some zoos, mushrooms and leathers. Those are easy beginner corals.

overall easy corals to keep are mushrooms, polyps (zoanthids, buttons, stars, woods)

I also agree that mushrooms, zoanthids and leathers are the best way to start.

I have a 150w metal hallide so I think i'm good for just about anything as far as lighting.

Yes you are!

Go with zoas! They are a great first one because as they get older they'll keep spreading in the tank. Mine have probably more than doubled in number since August.

How about some of these. They are pretty easy corals.

Button polyps

Finger leather

Frogspawn coral

Torch coral

Bubble coral

Just some lps and leather corals that are pretty easy
