Found out the problem. the electric company came out today.

my heater coils were coming on whenever my A/C was comeing on. it was supposed to be around 4300 watts and it was pulling almost 11,0000.

So your running a heat pump for AC/heat? If thats the case,its the reversing valve on the compressor.The valve will run you any where from 100 to 150 bucks,then labor to change it out.

no they are just both trying to running at the same time. it is a problem with the thermostat. whoever hooked it up mixed up all the wires.

the guy is coming out tomorrow to fix it. at least its cool (like in the 60's) to where i dont need to run the a/c or heat!
