i got a new-to-me 30 gallon tank that i am trying to setup for a reef tank. I went and got some living rocks for the tank, some that the shop had cured and got growing again. They seem to be doing good in my tank now after about a week. The colors are comming back and im noticing some odd things on them.

One is a clam of some sort, I dont think the ammonia spike is finished as its reading .08 on my tester... How hardy are they? Will the ammonia kill it if i dont get something to bring it down?

Another little creature is some little soft marble looking thing. I accidently imploded half of it handeling the rock, hope i didnt kill it.

I have a skimmer comming in the mail so hopefully i can get it before the tank goes bad. I hope i didnt jump the gun adding the rocks... I also seem to have got some sort of really small brown shrimp running around my tank with my rocks, its about 1 cm long and zips quickly around. Are these small shrimp harmfull?
