    WHOA!!! great price. I wonder if it will still be on sale in a couple of weeks, I don't want to get to many fish at once. I guess I will buy more sand and do a 4 inch sand bed.

    I don't think it will be that much of a problem if you add 'dead' dry sand.

    I don't see why it would as long as you're not adding live sand and you don't stir up your current sand bed too much.

    Oh so I shouldn't add more live sand then? How should I go about adding it? I am I know I will have to raise the rock a little, and will I need to mix the sand a little?
