    You don't want to raise your rocks. Add a little sand at a time until it gets to the depth you want. Jawfish make cave and if the rock is on top of the sand it will cause an avalanche. That is an amazing deal on the jawfish.

    I'm waiting on my HOB refugium to come in the mail. I still have pods but my clowns took the numbers down a good bit.

    What I'm worried about is that my sand bed is too young to have a jawfish. Will the silicates in the aragonite sand kill the jawfish? I should email them and find out how long that deal is.

    Well hopefully when I get my refugium my pod population will be safe. Well at least for the mandarin.

    Well that's not the problem, I heard the silicate in the new sand bed will sufficate the jawfish. Not sure if that is correct or not.

    A friend from work who is in the saltwater hobby. He has a great tank but I don't always trust what he says for some reason.
