Because I joined a couple of months ago I wasn't able to do a Build Thread (and of course I didn't really build anything, as it was a plug and play system) so I thought I would share some of my pictures of my mature tank. I have had this tank set up and stocked for approximately two and a half years. I found that the system was just too limiting for fish (especially Tangs!), so that's what lead to the larger Zero Edge Tank. When the Zero Edge "grows in" some more I'll take some shots of it. Sorry if the pictures are of so-so quality. I have several cameras but suck at taking pics. These are from my iphone. :D

Beautiful tank, I love your clam. Have you been happy with the red sea? I have been curious about it.

Thanks! I love my Red Max! It is a great starter tank for anyone because it is easy to set up and maintain. The problem is that there's not a lot of room for stuff so one quickly out grows it. I'm thinking of getting the new 65 gallon.:D

The Tang got moved to the larger tank, Dustin. Your right, not enough room, especially with all the corals! And even without them...

Very nice! Are you running carbon? Lots of leathers in there and they like chemical warefare.

Thanks ccCapt. I run a canister/UV filter all day, about once a week. It has a tray of carbon in it. I'm not overly impressed with "in tank" filtration systems like the Red Sea has. I guess it works though. Kinda like a mini sump without the added water volume, though.

I'm serious, if you have an empty 30 gal RSM what better way to go than a couple of cuttlefish? This has nothing to do with crabs, only my interest in the dwarf cuttlefish. They are awesome.

May be I'll just sell you my Max. I'm going to upgrade it to the newer 65 gallon RSM soon. You could have a mantis shrimp or those cuttlefish. Then you could feed Desmond to one of them.

I'd love it, but cash flow is tight these days. Perhaps we could work something out but only if it doesn't involve the demise of my beloved Desmond
