I found a dead shrimp this morning. At least. Think so. It does not look translucent but there is a split from his tail all the way up his belly. There is still meat inside though. I seems weird that if it just died it would not be split open. And from what I have read here, when a shrimp molts they split on the top of the shrimp. I would imagine there is no meat of the shrimp left behind . I can only account for two shrimp right now although I guess the third could be hiding. I think it's dead though. Is it possible the shrimp could split on the bottom ? Maybe he died during his molt? What would cause him to split on the bottom and just die if he was not molting ? Maybe it was an alien autopsy in my tank:grumble:
