Devils hand.

Reefing newb
Well I have had this devils hand a oil over a month now. It is huge and grown three new oil fingers. Well I did usual today fed tank Rods fish food and went to work. When I walked in I went to tank like always. I noticed it slumped over in half and all polyps are retracted. Is this normal for them to do time to time. I haven't seen this with this one. My toadstool does this time to time. So just curious if this is normal.

Before you all ask. My params are all good

Any help is much appreciated

Leather coralssometimes shed a waxy film to rid their surfaces of attached algae or detritus. They may remain closed for a few days before shedding this film, but it is usually a normal process. Strong water flow can help slough off the film layer.
