Did I kill my Green Star Polyp?

I freshwater dipped it for about 10 minutes to get rid of pests. Its been 2 days and up to now it still has not gone out...is this thing dead?

What pest did you see?I've never heard of any pest like snails,nudibranches that feed on GSP.

a tiny worm and very small looking critter, not sure what it is......i might give it a week before i say it officially dead...??

+1 Reeffreak....10 minutes seems like a helluva long time to dip...but I've never done a FW dip.

10 minutes is kind of long for a coral freshwater dip.

Some corals can handle a freshwater dip and some can't.I honestly don't believe those two things were doing any harm.

What corals can handle a freshwater dip?All I know of for sure are palys,zoas and SPS corals.

I'd say that Reefs right.
When giving ANY coral a freshwater dip,30 seconds is plenty long enough.10 minutes will cause extreme internal damage to the corals effectively killing the whole coral.
