Disease on hermit crab?

    Hey guys, I have a crab that has something that looks like ick, it is not yet in my tank, but can you tell me if it will hurt my octopus later on? Thanks

    Can't tell much from that picture, but from what I can tell, it looks like spirorbid worms. Harmless filter feeder.

    Yes, if it is indeed spirorbid worms, they are harmless. Amore clear picture would help with ID. :)
