Time to add some coral!
Should I be worried about it getting clogged and overflowing my tank? I am trying to think of a way to make sure most of the water goes to the scrubber but if it gets clogged it will just spill over. Any ideas?

I never heard that happening. You could have something go down the overflow and plug it that way, but i wouldnt worry that the algae would do that.

as long as your drain has a screen or trap you can clean out you should be fine. Just put something to keep large debris and critters out of it.
