Anyone had problems with DIY siphon/overlfow made out of PVC being loud through the vent pipe? I just upgraded my pump and now my siphon gurgles loudly. Also what is the max GPH in 3/4 PVC?

There are 2 designs. Not sure which one you have.
For the one with an open top:
Drill a hole on a cap, then insert a tube into the hole. Make the tube a bit longer so that you can move it up and down. Put the cap on to cover where it's making the noise. Moving the tube up and down can control how fast the siphon go and stop the gurgling sounds.
If yours is just an inverted U:
Drill a hole on the tip top and insert a tube. Move the tube up and down to control the siphon rate and stop the noise.
