hi. i made a sump that is less noisy and no splashing buy drilling tank and using lifeguare mech. filter. deep sand bed, small quiet one pump.the stand pipe is 1"dia.
and only drains a few gallons of water into sump, no overflowing on floor. 5years to get
one right for me. i used a lot of shopvacs before this.
