does anyone know of any schools in florida with a good marine bio program?

    I'm not a marine bio student, but I'm President of the Aquarist Club at USF, so I have some knowledge about the marine science programs at USF and around Florida. USF has some really great faculty. A lot of them are working on the oil spill and its aftermath, but there's a variety of research going on. Most marine stuff is based out of USF St. Pete (Welcome to the College of Marine Science, USF, St. Petersburg, Florida), but there is crossover with faculty in Integrative Biology at the Tampa campus.

    While I can't personally attest to these other programs, I've heard UF has a great aquaculture facility and that Eckerd College has a good marine bio program as well.
